Dublin is the best city for students in Europe, a study by a UK-based educational consultant has found.
The study, carried out by Studee, also ranked Ireland as the thirteenth best student city worldwide. Tokyo was ranked in first place, followed by Melbourne and Seoul. The Russian cities Tomsk, Novosibirsk and St Petersburg were placed last.
The research analysed factors including rent costs, internet speeds and the number of high ranking universities. It also evaluated the average cost of living, the number of 15 to 24-year-olds in each country, food offerings, safety ratings and the level of free speech.
