Are you an Indian student who is planning to head over to the Great White North to further your studies? The good news is that there are plenty of scholarships for Indian students.
Over the past couple of years, the country has solidified its appeal as a study destination thanks to its accommodating immigration policies and support measures. Recently, figures out of India’s ministry of external affairs proves that more Indian students are choosing to travel to Canada over the US.
Many Canadian universities offer a variety of scholarships for international students each year. Here are four scholarships for Indian students that you can consider applying in 2022:

The University of Toronto offers over 2,000 scholarships for students of all backgrounds. These scholarships come in all shapes and sizes — some are for all students while others are country specific.
One scholarship worth looking into is the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships, awarded annually and covers tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. The scholarship is tenable only at the University of Toronto for first-entry, undergraduate programmes. Each year approximately 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars. Student scholarship application deadline falls on January 17, 2022.

The University of Montreal offers the UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students. The goal of this programme is to help the best talent from around the world attend one of the finest francophone research universities in the world. In turn, these international students helps their educational mission by enriching the cultural diversity of the Université de Montréal community.
This scholarship has awards for three programmes, undergraduate, masters and PhD. Each has their own amount awarded including levels that are based on your recent academic performance.
